Peter played school level basketball at Samuel Pepys School in Brockley. The school was famous for winning many games, cups and trophies. Peter went on to play in the Junior National League for Malory School. He has worked for Action Sports (Lewisham sports council) and between 1983 and 1986 began refereeing and coaching. Aside from basketball, Peter plays the Tenor Saxophone with the South London Jazz Orchestra (SLJO), and in the summer of 2007 went to the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, playing on the same stage as the B-52’s and Van Morrison! Check out the website at www.sljo.org.uk.

“I am very proud of what Thunder has achieved over the past few seasons we can only go from strength to strength. This season look very competitive. With the other coaches I’ll be working on the fundamentals for the under 14’s. I’m looking forward to leading them and hopefully get some more trophies. This is a fantastic game and it gives you skills that you will use for the rest of your life. We have a great team and very supportive parents Go Thunder!!”
